Just Say Yes
I came across this essay a few minutes ago; I read it and found it very interesting, and possibly very useful.

My personal take is that he is right (this may be my take because this is what I do).
I believe there was a discussion along these lines here on Cambridge, but couldn't find it. Anyway, I hope some of you find it interesting.

Although the images are striking, I found it a bit verbose and somewhat egocentric:
Almost dead-center (just kidding, honest).
I agree that he is right, BTW!

Yes, the sensor does, the camera software does, my screen does, the printer does, the print viewing lighting does and I do. Yep - Yes is the simplest thing to say.

The good photographer suffers, I think, from linguistic diarrhoea though he does make a valid point. YES, verbal economy pays!

Perhaps anyone who has a problem with photographers post-processing their work should be directed to that article as punishment
