    I agree, and I hope I did not bothered anyone too much with this. I do both video and still... hobby wise.
    recently more video. And interestingly 80% of the video DSLR community has the discussed topic completely twisted and wrong ( because they they see the 5Dmark2 as the base)! So Thanks again for the patience

    I'm somewhat the same and shoot both stills and video, but use dedicated cameras for both. I've looked at shooting video on both of my DSLRs and find them rather limited. I think they would be fine in a pinch, but they are awkward to use and don't do sound particularly well, have no peaking for focus, etc. One of these days I'm going to try the D800 as a "B" camera to augment the Panasonic.
