Some General Photos
Hi all,
It has been a bit since I have posted any photos, the last time being when I had just received my Tamron 60mm Macro lens. Since then I have made another lens purchase, this time a more general walk around lens, the Sigma 17-70 mm f/2.8-4.0 DC Macro OS HSM. This one I bought second hand and I have to say it is one sweet lens, nice and sharp with a good range and the ability to get up pretty close and still focus. Well anyways, here are some photos I have taken with it, I hope you like.
Cheers

Jason, a pretty useful and impressive lens from Sigma.

Jason that first one in particular looks great to me. If I'm not mistaken, the third shows part of old Parliament House on the left ?? (we visited Canberra recently for Floriade)
I have that Sigma lens and have been quite happy with it. It's my "stable lens" for landscapes.

Re: Some General Photos
Hi guys,
Thanks for the comments. Yes it is one useful lens, it has not been off the camera since I got it, I find it covers pretty much all of my areas of interest. I am yet to try it at night but that is in the works. Yes Dave that is Old Parliament House, it is the view across the croquet lawn that is there, from down on my belly.
Cheers
J
