Very evocative, Sharon. It appears that we are given the choice of two realities to enter into, one just an altered perception of the other. But as we tend toward choosing the more real of the two, we discover on closer look that it doesn't appear completely real either. Is all reality an illusion? Is that man Me, looking for a way out?
As much as I've enjoyed your other work, I'd love to see more of this genre. This is stuff that moves me.

Reflection of a reflection. A distorted one.
It makes me think.
I like it.
whats an explore on flickr?
At first glance, it's an intriguing composition. After looking at it just a bit more, I realize that I had no idea what I was seeing. This is really terrific stuff! Do more of it!
Really interesting photo. Nice job executing it. I like the "sense" of the scene.

Thanks Guys. I wasn't at all sure how this would go down but I really feel the need to explore new avenues.
Mark..a flicker 'Explore' is a sort of award for being 'interesting'. A handful of pics submitted on a single day get highlighted for attention and it's a lovely boost when it happens.
A most interesting image. Congrats on the "Explore" - definitely a good choice.
Congrats, Sharon. Definitely a fantastic shot. There's lots to draw the eye and the light is great too.
Thanks Bobo and Phil....!
Sharon, that is a really intriguing shot. Not something I'd ever come up with but still interesting to me. Well done.
all of you images deserve this Sharon and for once in my life im being serious i aspire to reach the levels that you have attained. Well done.Mark..a flicker 'Explore' is a sort of award for being 'interesting'. A handful of pics submitted on a single day get highlighted for attention and it's a lovely boost when it happens.
well you ahead of me Donald, i dont even have Flickr!
This is absolutely great stuff! At first I was annoyed that the prominent vertical in the middle wasn't vertical. I still am. And I think that's just as it shuld be. This picture has so many layers it should be in a gallery or museum. Makes my heart beat a little faster
Ole...thank you so very much. There isn't a true vertical or a horizontal in that hallway, I am constantly amazed the roof stays on! ( I kinda like that.)
Donald and all other Flicker users...have you actually checked to see if you have an Explore? Try typing your info into this..http://bighugelabs.com/scout.php
It gets worse.
I typed in Screen Name or Email or User ID (in fact all of them), as requested and it told me 'Person not found'.
So, not only am I boring, but I don't actually exist.
I got a whole lot of stuff telling em to make some link between my Flickr and something to do with toys. Seemed to get very complicated.

OMG...Did we just invent you as our 'gold standard'?
(message my flicker acct and I will find it for you.)
Sharon, you should get jaded and bored more often! Stunning image, thanks for sharing.
