    Hi pinakibaidya,

I think this is a lovely photo of this young big-eyed beauty! She is a total Sweetheart!

Just a couple of things that pop into mind? The climbing apparatus on the camera right side? Do you think maybe it might be better if it wasn’t in the frame? I know how hard it is sometimes to get a good background, but the rest of the background is very nice and very nicely out of focus.

I was also wondering if there might be any more of the photo that would reveal all of her lower arm?

Conversely, if you have enough resolution, there is a nice crop lurking there that would take out the red apparatus as a tight head & shoulders. I tried it and it really brought this young lady’s eyes “in your face” and those eyes are simply gorgeous.

So I’m with you pinakibaidya! This one looks nice to me too!

Terry has said it all. En captivating shot , well done

It looks like youve use a flash, camera left (but almost on cam) and slightly high its maybe a little harsh and id have diffused it a little more, it would have softened the light on the hair/face and the catchlights in her eyes. but im being picky!!

Thank you terry for your viewing and valuable opinion. And you are right if i crop that photo to a head and shoulder portrait it looks better.

Mark ,thanks for your comments.I didnot use flash at all.I checked Exif data also.May be a soft focus filter or pp would do justice. But again i am on the learning curve.

My mistake then, wonder what made the catchlights in her eyes so strong? then id of used a large translucent diffuser, like i said it really is nit picking and it a wonderful image just the way it is.

I can tell there is no flash in this, the light is already too soft, but the reflection in her eyes is great, is that a reflection through the trees above? her expression is soft, she's adorable! I do agree with the climbing equipment and a tighter crop would have made it more dramatic. A portrait does start with the eyes. Also, did you white balance this? It looks like there is a lot of orange and the pink shirt seems saturated.

Do you mind if I take a try at this one?
