New Sigma 70-300 Macro
The wife decided I needed a 70-300 and bought me one. Hope the results will not be to bad.
Shot this one in Makro mode. It seems to be reasonably sharp.

Re: New Sigma 70-300 Macro
Sigma makes several different 70-300 lenses and I am not sure which one you have but the result seems fine. Can you give advice on getting a wife to buy photographic gear for their husband, I am sure you will have an eager lot of readers.

Thanks Paul.
It is the "cheap" one. No APO and no OS. Getting the wife to buy equipment is easy - make her look better in shots you take of her.
There is of cause another way - make her worry about what you do in your spare time and she will buy you things to keep you busy, knowing what you are doing.![Big Grin](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/biggrin.png)
My wife is wonderful, she likes my photography.

Re: New Sigma 70-300 Macro
Personally, I have been trying to coerce my significant other by allowing her to play with my kit. Hopefully, she will realize that it is woefully inadequate without the 70-200 VRII

Re: New Sigma 70-300 Macro
Thanks for the comment:
Mark I do not see white dots, those are yellow pollen dots.
Good luck Randy, is there any of us with a kit that is not woefully inadequate in some way? We keep filling "gaps".
