Portrait For Our Friend
Our friend's Maltese, Sarah, has achieved the highest level in American Kennel Club Agility Competition. She is the first and only female Maltese to have achieved this status. I volunteered to shoot a commemorative portrait. The AKC ribbon is for her achievement and the PVC pipe is a jump barrier signed by all the other owners in the agilty match. I almost said that it was signed by all the participants in the match but, we all know that dogs can't sign their names. The gal's owner wanted to include the PVC in the portrait because it meant a lot to her...
I think that the Sarah looks appropriately proud of her achievement.
I first experimented shooting this so that the writing on the ribbon could be read but, that didn't look quite good...

Looks quite smug about the whole thing. Probably thinking "Border Collies? A bunch of over rated showoffs. This shows what a proper dog can do".

I'm guessing she's acheived MACH... awesome stuff! And a great photo
Love that her collar matches her rosette
