    I quite like this one Donald, I like the bands and the subtle colours in the image, but I'd consider it more of a starting point into this sort of work rather than something that's immediately stand alone. It's good - but not great (without being unkind). The water is a little sharp and personally I'd crop a little sky to balance the image a little. It's good to step outside the box once in a while though, even one as well constructed as yours and I personally like landscape images that intrigue with their abstract qualities.

    I saw this yesterday..revisited it last night and again this morning..am back looking at it again.

    It's a good abstract with contemporary appeal but it doesn't tell a story and doesn't move me half as much as your shot's that do have that purpose.

    The shades are dull in the sky and dark in the hills..then the bright silver pool seems to arrive without seams and it doesn't blend enough .

    It would look great in a high class coffee shop but it wouldn't attract me to Loch broom.
