Just love this image for its tones and subject matter, but im not keen on the composition, i think this is one that would hep with the application of the 3rds rule....I HATE RULES!

I suspect that a nice blue sky with fluffy white clouds would work OK. But in B&W the sky to land balance looks wrong.

Probably crop the sky a bit and either go to a 2 x 1 ratio or also lose a bit from both edges.

Like Mark, I'm never keen on forcing a scene to conform to fixed rules but working very roughly around having 1/3 sky would probably achieve a better balance.

Nice shot hec. I agree with what those above me said about the composition. If you were to crop the image I would take some off the left side as it is a bit muddy safari as tones go.
