I have been going through some of my very first digital pictures to see if I can smarten them up with my new tools. I think this picture of a dam on the upper Derwent river in Derbyshire becomes quite a pleasing image, if not technically great and given the camera used, but the main reason for posting is that this is where the famous 617 ("Dambusters") squadron practiced with their bouncing bombs. The nearest thing they could find to the Ruhr in the UK.
