It has a nice mood but I think a tighter crop might work better.
Thanks Miltos,
I will work on it, good point here. Thanks again,
Leo
I like the mood also but to me it looks like the focus is a bit soft.
Sorry Leo, there is something in the image that my eyes do not like - I cannot focus. Looks like the lamp posts were all planted with a slant to the right.
Should you not do this using a tripod?
I love the idea and the tone.
Took it into LR to take a closes look and the focus is off. I see it was took at f5.6, 1/4, ISO 800. 35mm. My thinking is no tripod, hand held and with a slow shutter of 1/4 we got a bit of camera-shake and or the the camera did not get a good focus lock if using auto or if using manual not focus properly. Just guess here.

The photo is obviously out focus but I think this is part of the image.
Not all photos have to be sharp, at least in the way I perceive photography.
Happy to hear other thoughts on that.
Yes i agree but theres to much in this photo that isnt 'right' the verticals lean , the soft focus or camera shake, the busy bright lights at the back. mey eys wonder around the image so much it almost make me ill to look at it (but that could be the beer from last night!)
I do like the colours and saturation though
Thanks Paul, Andre, Miltos and Mark.
Excuses are confirming the assumption , most of the time.
Yes, after upload have more "plastic" look due to noise reduction. Don't figure yet why..... looks almost with all my pictures...
I might give a try without noise reduction.. is ment to be a "candid picture", so noise from ISO800 might be ok.
Thanks again for your comments,
Leo
PS: my 18-55 IS kit lens is far from being a precise/correct lens, but, again, I find miself excuses
All you can do is try, if it don't work try again. That is what I love about digital photography over film your out nothing but some time
