With regard to this photo. Focus and exposure are good. My only slight negative thought is that the bird is a little too far to the left. Facing out of the frame.
I would prefer it if the distance between the bird's beak and left edge was no less, or a little more, than that between the outside edge of the 'crown' and the right edge. If that makes sense.
