Park bench and angles --another from the recent archives C&C always!
I took this in St. Louis outside our hotel room. I got to roam around all by myself for an hour or so --lots of angles that day.

Hi Gretchen,
I like the idea, I will give a try by myself. For myself, the problem of this image is "too much vegetation and colour behind bench".
Maybe a cut above bench, and selective desaturation for vegetation behind?

Gretchen - Well done on seeing the angles, particularly that created by the strong shadow line

Nice geometry Gretchen.
Agree with Leo colors are a bit distracting.
A B&W conversion might be a nice possibility to explore.

another good shot Gretchen, but this one needs some PP, i like the angles idea but for angles to work well the the image needs to be tidy, (well i think so) so id PP the leaves & the crack out.
I would also remove the part of the shadow that represents the back of the bench so that the shadow was a plain rectangle then id crop the left to make the image square.
it might work better in a contrasty B&W
just a personal view though and an entirely subjective one.

I did work it a bit to take some glaring distractions out. I hate doing too much PP to a subject in "nature". After a while I wonder what is real and what is PP.
Anway, I will work it a bit more or try the B&W others have suggested.
I like the crack and back of the bench angle. We shall see.
THANKS everyone for their input!
