Not a bird expert, I think a tight crop will work better. Beside that, first one is my favorite.

All good. Bit underexposed but better then blowing the whites. Suggest a slight curves adjustment to see if the brightness/detail can be brought up a bit.

Hi Bobo! Thanks. Yes, with white birds it is better not blowing the whites. I actually played with the curves adjustments for a while and this was the best I managed to obtain (anyway, I will play with it a bit more). I think the egret was flying a bit too far!!
