From recent weekend in Suffolk. Messing with shallow DOF and long end of 28-75mm lens. Processed to look like Fujifilm Velvia. EXIF ISO 50, f3.5, 1/30sec
How big is it? ive a feeling the shallow DOF is making it look smaller than it really is.
It was a standard size, of the type used to move shingle around and tow fishing boats out to sea, which is probably why its so rusty. The shallow DOF and the view point together with the 75mm focal length make it look small.
This is on the beach at Aldborough, Suffolk which consists of a steep shingle bank. So to get the fishing boats down to the water they use this machine and drag them down the beach.

Ah - thanks Peter. I get it now. The fishing boats that I work around are several thousand tons - have 30 to 50 people on board - and would have room for several dozen diggers in their holds!
