Every once in a while, one will get curious and walk up close, giving some great opportunities.

Nice of her to stand in the shade for you and so close....85mm!. Looks like your timing was spot on catching the tail flip {or is that a brach}, guessing she bounced fairly soon after the click? Nice work Steve.

Thanks paul ( a branch i think). This was shot in the park. If you can get a group to accept you, they will allow you to follow along (at about 25 yards) as they feed. Then occasionally, one will just walk up close to you and check you out. Some groups will accept you and others will run away. You just have to catch them on the right day and you're like one of the family. (very cool when it happens)

Nice images. That would be nice but around here they are normally a little more skidish. Most areas they are worried they about to get shot and not with a camera.

That is a nice image. It's good that she has obviously noticed you, it makes the shot so much more interesting than if she had been oblivious to your presence.
