All taken with the 70-300 L with 1.4x TC.

No idea what that thing is. He flew into the vines with it. Probably taunting the other bird he was with by tossing and catching the thing.

Maybe it was not securely held in #1 so had to do that to get a better hold on the thing. Not even sure if it is even edible.

Nice shots bobo, i think cropping down to a 5/4 will put more focus on the bird.

Thanks Steve, I did try that but the shots lost the "hanging" feel so opted for a 7x5.

Good sequence of shots Bobo. Difficult lighting conditions, what ISO and shutter speed did you end up with ?

The only suggestions I have are to reduce the Highlights and perhaps add a bit more sharpening.

You weren't kidding high ISO, looks like it worked out fairly well. #4 tis my favorite.

Thanks Paul. Could be better as darker back part is somewhat nosier than what I like. 5 rapid shot sequence - so hardly time to properly focus let alone adjust settings. Overall should not complain too much as the important parts came out okish.

Just noticed that motion blur was also caught.
