    Cloning and healing

    I removed a golfer from a landscape photo, (I thought he ruined the photo!) using the FastStone clone and heal function.

    However when I look at the thumbnail of the "healed" photo I can still see him!
    The thumbnail looks the same as the original.

    Is this normal?

    It sounds like the embedded thumbnail is of the original image. This does seem to happen in some image editing tools.

    That makes sense.

    I will try moving the "healed" image and see what happens.
