Hi Folks,
You may wonder why I am so excited. This red flower has some detail in it. I have been trying for some time now, shooting a red flower with some detail.
I hope you see on your screen what I see on mine - otherwise it is back to the drawing board.
Any suggestions more than welcome!

Reds are tough to photograph. Shooting under very good light is helpful. For this image, try going to hue and saturation and reduce the luminosity of the red channel. It should give you some more detail.

You definitely generated a lot of detail. However, there are major portions of the petals, especially the two petals sticking up in the rear, that would be nice to have more detail. Not that I would know how to assuredly bring it out, but my guess is that one way is to control the lighting.
