    Three more fascinating ones Jeff.

The more I see of your valley, the more I'd like to live there

#3 suits the sequence well as the last, but I see from the EXIF it wasn't

Love the clouds in the 1st photo, almost forming a V drawing your eye into horizon. All are superb!

    Hey Jeff
Great shots, I especially like the light on the second one. Just an FYI re clouds. The "unusual"clouds in your images are called "lenticular" clouds. Do a google search and you will find a bunch of images. They are an unusual type of cloud, caused by specific atmospheric conditions, which have obviously been over your valley for the last couple of days. But why doom?? Rejoice in the beauty - there is enough doom and gloom in the seats of government!

Also a question for you Dave. You mentioned the EXIF data - How did you manage to access that?? I would love to be able to examine the tec. data on many of the shots I see here to get a better idea of how they were done but I had no idea you could do that - enlighten us sticks in the mud if you please !

My most recent answer on getting EXIF data is here James, but don't just read my reply, there are some more useful ones below.

It has rained a bit here too, although I don't have "my head in the clouds"

I never said, but #2 is my favourite, I have seen skies like that myself (but not photographed).

    Cheers,

I like that you framed the image to accommodate sky and found a good fit with the lay of the land. Well done!

    Re: Unusual skies ...

Thanks Dave - I do use Firefox so will check into that. I had to stop and bang my head against my desk 3 or 4 times when I read about just saving and opening in your own program - why I did not think of that I can't imagine ! Here I was thinking there was some magic incantation your spoke over your computer and suddenly the EXIF data popped up on your screen (well, ok, not really) but I was wondering where it could be found. Live and learn! - Thanks

I'm with Dave.....I am packing right now, see ya soon. Seriously though Jeff very nicely done. I don't think I could tire of a view such as this. You do a terrific job of making different images of much of the same area. That in itself says much of your abilities.
