My Christmas Card Image...
This is Jack who is one of our recent foster Maltese looking for a "furever" home. Jack, is three years old and was given up to a shelter by his family because he has a seizure disorder. However, his seizures can be competely controlled with the use phenobarbital. The med is inexpensive and one quarter pill given orally once daily will keep Jack from having future seizures. This friendly and housetrained dog is going to be the cover boy for our American Maltese Rescue Christmas card.

Hi Richard! Hi Jack!
Beautiful shot of Mr. Jack Richard. He looks very festive in his Holiday Mood!
May Santa bring him a Furever home to live happily ever furafter. He makes a very cute and compelling poster boy!

Re: My Christmas Card Image...
I am considering doing images for every month of the year. I have been asked to produce a Maltese Rescue Calendar to sell in order to raise $$$ for our organization! This will probably be a 2014 calendar.
Good news, we placed this image of Jack on a our facebook page and we have been flooded with adoption requests. Good pictures really make a life and death difference for rescue dogs...

Re: My Christmas Card Image...
This is Hoover. He is a tiny Maltese about 18 months old. Tomorrow (Monday) he goes to the vet to get his teeth cleaned and then his new family is picking him up on Wednesday. They asked me for an image of Hoover to use for their Christmas cards.
We got such a good reception for Jack's picture on our facebook page that I decided to shoot one like it of Kaylee. When we first received Kaylee, we thought that she was deformed. However one of our Thanksgiving guests had once raised Basset Hounds and pointed out that Kaylee was a Maltese-Basset cross. That's why her front legs are quite short and pointed differently than a pure Maltese. She has long Basset-like ears and shows whites around her eyes. Kaylee is a wonderfully mellow little girl who will make someone a loving pet. Hopefully her image will spur some attention on our facebook page and website.
