A recap of a old portrait
Hi all, some of you may recongise the following photo from earlier, but i was bored, hot & sweaty and cant sleep so this is what i been concentrating on for about 45 mins. My cloning skill is no good enough to get ride of her protruding forarm, but i believe i dont atleast a okish job on the selective colouring of her eyes and the flower.. What you think? Be honest now ![Smile](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/smile.png)

Re: A recap of a old portrait
Hi Allen,
I did type a more detailed reply but things went wrong before I posted and I lost it. ![Mad](https://cdn.cambridgeincolour.com/forums/images/smilies2/mad.png)
In short I have made some adjustment that I thing give you another option to consider.
One of the main things I did was to sharpen the picture. I’m happy to go through the work-flow if you wish.
Well done mate and thanks for sharing.

Lovely photo but for me convert the green of the leaves so you just have the pink flowers.

Re: A recap of a old portrait
Ok, so i did my best with my skils at removing the forarm(not as good as johns), blurred and smudged a bit of the background, and sharpened her face, hair and flower abit. And i left the green in for now. I know, not the best, but i surprised myself.

Re: A recap of a old portrait
Hi Allen, I grabbed John's (JPS) version because he had done a good job on removing the arm, cropped it slightly, reduced the highlights behind the trees and then lifted the tones in the face. As usual when I rush I over do some thing and lightened the forehead a bit more than I should have. You have captured a nice (pensive?) expression and it is certainly worth you spending your time on the portrait.
