Am did'nt think the water would be that cold eh?

    Nice shot.

Landscape - has everything that a good landscape needs and you did it again.

Jeff the landscape one is a beauty. I suggest you try some LCE, (Local Contrast Enhancment) to accentuate the mountains to see it that could help.

    Am is also a beauty.

Both nicely done. The landscape is picturesque, I don't think you could have captured it better and the dog... the expression says it all.

Thanks Bobo, it WAS cold, & I've never seen her reluctant to get in the water before ! Temps now down to -3 & swimming is off the menu until spring, I think !

Thanks, I'll have a go at that & see what happens ...

Liked you B&W shots on your site, I spent a summer in the Greek Islands in the early 70's - Its a wonderful country, unfortunately I didn't have a Camera at the time ...

I'm interested in your 180mm prime, which model is it & what do you use it for ? I'm looking for a telephoto prime for action shooting ....

Both good images. A great sky behind the snowy mountains and a classic portrait of the dog.

Great pairing of images, Jeff. The first, a beautiful serene landscape; and the second an, exuberant friend! I really like the energy in the second capture, though. Well done.
