Re: Emerald Grande
Looks to good to be true - what have you done with the clouds - great shot for a resort brochure. Certainly looks like a very comfortable place to stay.
Technically its good but I would prefer the lighting to be at a greater angle making the building look a little less flat. It would look good if all the lights were on and it was early evening.

Re: Emerald Grande
Hi Kelvin,
In keeping with L. Paul's idea of making it less flat, I warmed up the high rise to provide more contrast with the foreground. I also cooled the foreground but that's harder to detect. It's an interesting image to think about.

Re: Emerald Grande
You guys are absolutely correct! I changed the picture and made the corrections.... As for the clouds, there just weren't any!
Thanks for the great input... This is an awesome site!

Re: Emerald Grande
Pity about the clouds, Kelvin. A nice fluffy white cloud in the top right corner would have created perfect balance to the building

Re: Emerald Grande
I like the cloudless blue sky but it does make harsh lighting for photography.

Re: Emerald Grande
The image is very busy and my eye doesn't know where to look. That isn't bad for this photo though, because the overall effect is impressive with lots of color. The photo makes me wish I could be there to see it in person. I agree, it would make a good photo for advertising the hotel. I have no suggestions for improvements as the image is very nice as is.
