    Dark Venice

Hello everyone, again. I offer to Your attention a few photos. I chose for itself certain style. It's dark, gloomy, with many textures and cracks. Sooner or later, a standard photos is bothers. Landscape, portrait, macro already became ordinary for me. It wanted something new and eccentric. Certainly, in this version it is a not photo already, but...

    Hi Yegor,

Good to see you back again

I can appreciate these as your art, and even though they are not to my persoanal taste, I hope I can offer something to help.

If you aiming for a painted art look; I don't think the uncorrected leaning verticals fits with that.
I don't follow art, but would imagine that many artists would sketch/paint with the building verticals with perspective corrected.

However, if you were aiming for a faded old photograph style, then leaning verticals are a little more acceptable, although with view/plate cameras, these were also often corrected before the shutter clicked.

Something to consider, or not, as your heart desires.

    My pick would be #5.

    Hope that helpful,

    Yegor - very good.

I like the difference created by the use of textures. It has taken "ordinary" photos to a new level.

    I like them all!

    Great job!

yes, it is difficult to examine it as an ordinary photo. I would not carp at lines)) here matter of effect. and simply wanted to make a picture more interesting, than simple architecture, as these, for example:
    Dark Venice
    Dark Venice
    Dark Venice
    .....with kind regards.

Oh, I like all of them. I'd try to center the buildings in 1 (cropping out the building to the right) & get rid of the red building to the left of #3 tho. They don't seem balanced. That first shot is especially interesting!

    Thanks for posting!

Yegor, great series of images, I really like the creative post processing in the first group of images. They seem like old photos which might be for sale at a flea market...
