You nailed the exposure and the focus very well and did a nice B&W conversion. I don't know why, buy I suspect that the image might be more powerful with the subject walking away from the camera...

Yes, it could be another point of view. I was taking a rest in Haya Sofya in Istanbul, I red the light and made the camera ready then this man was following me, immediately I pressed and took the photo. There was no plan.
