Well this will be the venue for my entries on 5 Wednesdays in January.
As an introduction, I'll be using my Nikon D700 and 85mm f1.4D.
As a telephoto prime lens this may be quite limiting, so I'll try to use a few tricks up my sleeve to make a couple of images look as if they are shot wide open on a medium format body, and generally use the lens as anything but the 'cream machine' portrait lens it is famed for.
