Wide angle lens close up for cic please
Took this one, hand held, on an overcast afternoon.
Settings:
Canon lens 10-22mm
ISO 200
TV setting 1/100sec
Luck favours the beginner, hey? Little devils just won't sit still and when they do they refuse to open their wings to show off their striking wing patterns and colours.

Very impressive.
The left edge of the left wing (as we look at it) seems a little soft. Did you put on any extra blur that maybe encroached onto that .... or did it just wiggle that when you pressed the button?
Lovely harmony in colour and tone.

They are very flighty and it took off just as I pressed the shutter. and so it is the dreaded wiggle effect unfortunately. Even selective sharpening didn't fix it completely.
