Mousehole Harbour Lights - Version 2
Here is another scene from Mousehole. Last Sunday night the lights were switched off from 8.00 pm until 9.00 pm in memory of the crew of the Penlee Lifeboat Solomon Browne who on the evening of 19th December 1981 lost their lives trying to rescue MV Union Star who had lost its engines in an appalling storm The eight man crew of the Solomon Browne were all Mousehole men. I was interested in how much DoF you got at f2.5 with the 50mm. The lights up at the top, at the back of the scene, are softer. In this case I think it's a good thing. They provide an interest in that part of the frame, but don't fight with the dominant (sharp) lights in the fore and mid ground.
