Hello Christina, thank you for taking time to view and comment. Regarding your question about the three birds landing, the shutter speed was 1/2000 with an aperture of f8.

Hello Lesley, thank you for taking time to view and comment. You are correct it is a Great Egret. I realized it looking at the images after posting and was lazy in not correcting it. I also shot Cattle Egrets in flight that day and mixed up the posts. Thanks again. Originally Posted by kentruth

OH I love this (your "cattle egret") what a great capture! I love the feet! As a former dog-groomer I always have the overwhelming urge to trim bird claws when I review pictures...Once again Great Shot!
