I was surprised to see this bird in our area. Captured the pair one morning just hanging around.
Messed up the horizon on this one..distracting to the image I think. Would need to be fixed if I printed it.

Once again great series. I shot this bird a while back and listed it as a Comorant, not Double Crested. Do you think it is the same bird?

Looks like the same bird....hey I have several of them at that angle...as they fly away from you
