    Whitetail Buck.

A few months ago, we were lucky to get some access to a very large ranch on the Rocky Mountain Front. Many nice trophy animals on the property.

Spent the past few months trying to get a close shot of this guy. Had a few different interactions, but he always kept us at a distance.
Finally, one evening a several weeks back - we were fortunate enough to spend about a half hour with him as the sun set. Beautiful animal..

He has since shed his antlers, so he is safe for another year!

As always, stellar work. Very nicely done, Jaime.

I love the light and composition as is, although....might it be stronger with a slight bit off the top? Honestly I am undecided.

I left a little at the top in case a magazine was to pick this up for a cover shot! ; )

Should have left more at the bottom, so as to not clip the legs. Nice shot otherwise.

We named him Duke and called him that all year. Duke as in "John Wayne"....

He didn't take crap from anyone and walked with a swagger!
