Thread: Action sequence shot

    Action sequence shot

Got this good looking fellow to perform for the camera today:

    '89 Haro Sport:

    Action sequence shot

The hard part is getting sync'd with the camera and getting each of the passes thru frame timed correctly. The action image is composed of 4 separate shots, taken from 2 passes (3 shots per pass) doing the same trick both passes, there was some overlap so I chose the farthest apart images for the final. C&C always welcome!

    Thanks

Great idea to post process. did something like this with a night shot. Pity of the overlap on the tire between cyclist 3 and 4. But apart from that nicely done.

Thank you, I did try to get the shots with the most separation, this was a fun experiment, I will have to try another round and see if I can get it right!!

Richard, you would be surprised in this season of giving how many people will volunteer to be photographed! The hard part was finding 4 balding almost 40 year olds to get on to a kids bike for this kind of shot! Here are some shots from the auditions:

This guy was very talented but a bit of an... well in this photo he truly is showing off his better half..

This one is the first rider in the action sequence, not much technical skill but... I gave him an A for effort!

This guy was the most photogenic of the group, but the wardrobe department screwed up his outfit. Fortunately our skilled photographer noticed the discrepancy. We had to go back and make sure everything from hat to shoes was correct prior to the full shoot!!

    LOL, and Merry Christmas
