Red Tailed Black Cockatoo (Female)
Affectionately known as the "Bush Telegraph" this is my favourite of all Aussie birds. They fly so slowly through the Outback that you wonder how they stay up there. They seem to have a non plussed attitude to life, and perhaps hat is why they live to over 100 years old all going well. This male was kind enough to fly within range of my 200mm. C&C welcome.

Nice capture Wayne, I like the color and detail of the bird in your image. Also learning that Cockatoos are not only white. Thanks for sharing.
