Sunset in the Marsh - C&C Please

Here's a late evening shot on the boardwalk in a wetland. Personally, I really like this photo. I think I like the sweeping view, boardwalk curves, and the cloud formations. Overall, I like the lighting as well. I don't like the support pole on the boardwalk...I guess it could be cloned out. While I do like the photo, I want to know what other people think, and why. Below are 3 different crops of the same photo. Please have at it, and thank you!

I like three, purely from a composition standpoint I think it is the most appealing. I would tighten the crop a bit more and brighten a hair. Just my 2 cents. Nice work.

Matt I also prefer the composition in #3, probably because the boardwoalk is not central and because the best part of the sky is on the left. I think it's a great shot with lovely light.

I would clone out the pole as you suggest although it's only a minor issue.

Hi Matt, I like all 3, the colours are beautiful but I think no 2 is my favourite. To me the balance between land and sky is most pleasing and conveys more the sweeping vastness and isolation of the scene with the boardwalk disappearing into the distance. No 1 would be next but as I say, I like all 3. Personally I would leave the pole, to me its part of the boardwalk and not an intrusion
