just a old farm building i stumbled upon.and as i was out in a storm and blowing a gale and there was very little colour in the scene.and the dark door made me walk over and be nosy

Very nice - that light shape in the doorway does make one wonder what is inside! I also like the lines in the field beyond - you want to stop at the door but your eye is also drawn through the image.

as much as i like my own image.i wish i'd managed to show how strong the wind and rain was.to me looking back it just looks like very over caste day.

I like the gritty look of the image. Very nice post-processing! I also like the composition emphasizing the missing door by prominently displaying the hinges.

I don't think the image needs to display the effect of the wind, but perhaps a slower shutter speed would have allowed the motion blur in the grass to do that.
