One of my first engagement photoshoots...

I did one of my first sets of engagement photos a week or two ago, and there were a few of the shots that I just couldn't seem to PP to my liking. I'll post them, and would definitely appreciate any feedback anyone has on them, and any alternative PP ideas anyone has...

Hi Victor! Thank you The watermark is a silhouette taken from a picture I took this spring:



It's one that I like quite a bit

Ashtyn, this is not the type image I shoot so take my thoughts for what they are, general in nature. The first image is rather busy, although it does possibly speak to whom the couple is. Figuring the props are all something included for a reason personal to them, what I might do is to selectively sharpen the people and dog. I might also bump their exposure a tad. I might then slightly blurr the background and add a very slight vignette.

In the second, I like the pose but it is a pitty about the branch acrossed them. A tough clone job for sure.

In the last image, for me....it beggs for a B&W conversion.

Hope I at least sparked some ideas.

I feel pretty certain that they will like the images.

From a photographer's point of view, in the first image the dark coat of the dog gets lost in the shadows of the vehicle. Perhaps some dodging might help there. If you were to reshoot something like this, perhaps some fill flash might be in order.
