My wife has just informed me that American Maltese Association Rescue has found homes for 157 homeless Maltese and Maltese mix dogs in 2012 and that 57 have made their way to their "furever" homes as fosters through our house. That's over 3 per week for the organization and almost five per month through our home...
We are starting 2013 in the right fashion. Zoe has been officially adopted today, January 1, 2013, and is our first 2013 adoption...

I have nothing to compare it to but that seems like a great year to me! Congratulations on all the work you do. I'm happy for all those furry babies that you've been able to help. I'm sure they've also enriched your life!

Great job. It's amazing how many dogs are out there needing caring homes. My hat is off to you for being willing and able to make a difference in the lives of the little critters.

Dreaming the impossible dream, I wish that there were no need for organizatons like ours and that all dogs had safe, caring and loving homes.
However, in our case, we describe ourselves like Topsy did in the book, Uncle Tom's Cabin... We "just growed and growed!."
