I really like all the clours blending into each other. Very arty.
It has come out quite surreal Donald,
I can't figure whether the top of frame is white whispy clouds against a clear blue sky or thick clouds lit from below.
Cheers,
Smart image Donald. I'm a fan of layers or bands in images and the way they blend into one another.
Cheers
David
Thank you one and all.
Dave - re,... the former.I can't figure whether the top of frame is white whispy clouds against a clear blue sky or thick clouds lit from below.
A slight tweak on curves brought up the the banding that was there anyway. It was an amazing light. The only other thing done was a soft brush sharpen along the edge of the tree line. I had difficulty avoiding halos.
This wasn't an intended shot at all. I had tramped for about 30 minutes across fields, clambering over fences and gates and through a bog to get to a position where, I thought, I would be high above Strathearn looking east towards Dundee and the River Tay as it entered the North Sea, with the low sun behind and left, streaming up the Strath (Valley). When I got there is just wasn't working - the sun was right behind me and the trees, rather than being more over my left shoulder (got it wrong - but it was a nice walk to a place I hadn't been before!). Everything in front of me was washed out and flat. Turned round 180 degrees and saw this.

Very nice work. Beautiful colours. The best images are often the unplanned ones and this illustrates this perfectly.

Very 'other'. I like it very much. Great colours. Well captured.
yes ,, nice colors...reminds me of opal...sort of...
a very comforting and a soothing picture, that deserves to be hung in a bedroom personaly the the trees below are not doing much for me,and can be easily ignored for the wonderful sensation the above colors, textures, and serenity it is creating in my mind.....good pic!
