Foggy morning in Moro Bay, California
On a pre-breakfast walk around Moro Bay, we saw a tourist fishing boat disappearing into the fog:
On the other side of Moro Rock, the surfers were also just setting out:
C&C Welcome.

I think I would crop just a fraction tighter in each case, Judi.
A little from the top and right side in the first image. There is little of interest above the darker horizontal sky bands. This will still leave more sky than sea.
If you had sharply exposed surf in the second photo, I would leave it alone. But as it is, I find that confused and blurred area at the top a little distracting.
So a little crop from the top and left side would concentrate more on the main subject.
Basically though, some good shots in poor conditions.

Thank you Geoff. I do see what you mean about cropping, particularly with the surfer. As you might have guessed, I am new to this photography thing and have a lot to learn. Thanks again.

Just one little tip, Judi. When considering how to crop a photo, I often start by holding a couple of pieces of card against the screen to give me a rough idea of how any new crops would look.
