    Now that you guys mention it...yes, slightly off. Difficult with a wide angle, but easy to PP.
    That exposure is something that goes extremely well with this wide angle lens. My previous wide angle, the 12-24mm (for DX really, but usable on FX as well from 18mm onwards) produced more highlights. It seems this new lens in combination with the D600 gives pretty good exposures. I used A here, not manual.

    Have been away for a while, working on an investor day the company was doing, so not much time for the forum. I really should pick up the camera once more, but the weather is terrible at the moment

    Below is one of my favourite kind of shots, trees from below with a wide angle, always nice to see what lighting you can get

    Peter, I really like this photo. Speaking from experience, these types of photos look much easier to do than they are in reality.
