Hi Zach,
#1 doesn't work for me due to the perspective caused by shooting from so close
#2 works well
#3 is great
Is that enough?
There are a few "if only"s
Cheers,
Thank you lmao, I need a new white backdrop, it is really really bad if you look at it.
Hi Zach,
No.2 & 3 are nice shots. I too do not like No.1 for the same reason as Dave; sorry.
Thanks for sharing.
John
PS. I hope you get a new backdrop, the pattern is a bit distracting.
3 is a good one, ditch or swap the white backdrop really hurting the images.
Cheers:
Allan
Hi Zach!
Dave has pretty much summed it up (as he always does)! And I think all in all they are nice. The lighting is pretty nice.
On the first one, I wonder if maybe you lowered your camera angle a tad if it would have helped the perspective. It may be a little inconsistent that the surface of the “wine” is different from the body of the liquid.
I like the second one. Would you consider a suggestion to lose the mid-air drops? And there is a drip camera left on the glass close to the stem that might like to be smoothed over? And since I’m not really a wine guy, may I please ask what blue wine goes best with? I recall not recalling a night I had down in Mexico that involved some liquid of dubious repute that was that color!
The third shot is pretty cool. Doesn’t seem like it had the same perspective thing as the first, or maybe its just less noticeable in the lighting.
I agree with your assessment of the backdrop!
All in all nice stuff, Zach!
Thanks for the criticism, I'm getting a new white backdrop ASAP, I'm just using that because that is all I could find at the time.
