Re: couple shots with my 50
That is one intense look from that deer in #2. You were spot on in that one.
I like the layers of colors and tones in #3. It's a nice profile shot of the buck. I wonder if it needs as much of the blank sky at the top? Just a thought. Did you desaturate the color in the background or is this the way it appeared? Just curious...

Re: couple shots with my 50
she surprised me in 2 I think she was trying to figure out what I was . I think if anything I may have over saturated the foreground in 3 and kinda liked it. I scrolled the picture up and believe your right less sky is better . Thanks for checking them out Terri your c&c is always welcomed .

Nicely done James, focus is spot on and very nice color and tones in all. The last may be a touch saturated but I like the contrast against the flat foggy sky.

Re: couple shots with my 50
Hi James. I really like shot 3, and I like it just the way it is including the saturated colors and a lot of sky. OK, maybe take a very small amount of sky off the top. As you have it, the negative space of the sky balances the orangy grass colors. I also find it interesting that the tree line (at far end of field and tops of trees) lead the viewer's eye toward the buck. Well done.

Re: couple shots with my 50
Thanks Ken. I knew there was something I liked about the tree line, I liked the fact that it divided the image in levels of color, and light, I wasnt even realizing that it was directing my attention to the buck.
Thanks also to John, Bobo, and Paul, your opinions mean much to me... whoops yours too Terri.
