Ring Necked Duck

I shot these the other day at Lake Morton when I captured the swans. It is named the Ring Necked Duck but the ring that is it's namesake is hardly ever shown in a photograph. The ring is a chestnut colored ring low on the neck. To me this is one of the most beautiful ducks. C&C welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

these birds are so lucky they have a great photographer to show off their beauty at its best! That's a really interesting secondary reflection you got on that first one. This may be a stupid questions but is that a reflection of the reflection?

Great shots!! Very beautiful duck. My favorite duck is the Pintail. Don't have any good pictures of pintails but know where thery hang out. Need to get a nice lens above 300 mm.

Nice, Joe. I like #2 the best as it is a nice semi profile and good eye contact as well as a nice reflection.
