Looking up from Wall Street
Wall Street in Asheville, North Carolina, not New York City. Captured in December 2004 with a P&S camera. Converted to black-and-white today.
Click the image to eliminate the really strong moire effect. C&C encouraged, though I have nothing to ask.

Love the brickwork, Mike. Nice image but for next time.....bring a wrench and step ladder to un-hinge the stop sign. I like the inclusion of the Wall sign being you are looking up at a large wall. I just think it would be so much better without the stop sign blocking the ornate rail and window.

Re: Looking up from Wall Street
Thanks, Paul. Sometimes I can't see the forest for the trees. I've always objected to that stop sign but not overly so. I felt that I needed the space beneath the "Wall St" sign, though I have no idea why. This crop takes care of everything for me. You? (Definitely easier than getting on a ladder, using the wrench and -- you forgot to mention this: -- risk getting arrested. )

I am glad you cropped that Mike... ( I just put away my wrenches and cancelled my bus ticket) cause if you didnt fix it I was going to. That is a great shot!

No jail, no wrenches and no bus tickets needed. Life doesn't get any better!
