Winter Scenes from Eastern Finland

Yesterday I took some winter photos from the country side in Eastern Finland. Quite ordinary scenes here but mayby not everywhere. That's why I selected them to show here.

Aaaaa, the light. The light, that's what we are after, aren't we?

Well the light in the first one is exquisite.

Agree with Miltos. These are very good images, but that first one is beyond good. The light in those trees with the light and shadow on the snows.... wonderful!

Thank's for the positive evaluation. You are right: the point is the light. After the long darkness of the winter first beams of sunlight feels wonderful and means much more thän the later ones.

The light in winter can be fantastic. We, down in Italy, have a different light. These are few I took yesterday in central Apennines.
