    Hi John,

    Welcome to the CiC forums from me, geat to have you join us.

    I have edited your post to add the image inline (so it's bigger than the attachment thumbnail), you can see how to do that yourself next time here (in the "Part 2" section).

    For other image hosting/display options, try this;

    What are you shooting with?

    On the photo, looking at the histogram, I'd suggest setting the black point a little lower, but I do like the composition.

    All the best,

    Hey Dave,
    Thanks for commenting. I noticed the thumbnail, but have not had the time time to correct it. I'm using a Nikon D90.

    John, you managed a nice exposure considering you were facing into the sun. A lot of folks are bothered by lens flare, but in this image I can't say it's a problem for me. If you'd had the sun at your back you would probably have gotten more detail out of your subject, but since I wasn't there and don't know any problems you might have encountered or what your intentions for the image were, I think you did a good job and I like the image.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Sergio, Thank you.
    I use lens flare alot... maybe even over use. I like to over expose slightly and then bring it down in PP, add some fill light and PUSH the black slider!
    I don't always use this formula, but it has become my 'style' I guess you could say.

    I also think lens flare has a place in some photos. I really like both of these...
