never done it, but my best guesses: -
    1. Take photo of subject, print off. Place behind empty pack and retake photo.
    2. Take a photo of the empty package and use a blending mode, e.g. Lighten. As the plastic cover reflects light better than the card background, it should be fairly close.

I would guess it would be done with layers, the last or top layer being a shot of glass at an angle to get the glare you want.
Sadly I don't use photoshop so I can't help with the prosess.

Part of it looks like the result of flash photography, you could add a thin layer of mylar between your subject and the camera.

Allen: I would suggest as you have done the dark background, now a couple of very soft lights to evenly light the scene, the camera on a tripod and a slow shutter speed. It is like shooting the wine glasses (can't remember who's post) you want soft and controlled lighting.

    Cheers:

    Hi Allen,
    how you keeping mate?
Some good ideas from the other members here. You asked about what could be done in PP, so I had a little try. I use layers / clone tool / spot healing tool / selected areas copied & flipped horizontal / pasted and blended as best I could. Also burn tool. I'll give you full details if you think it's any better.
    Cheers mate, speak soon.

    Edit: just a note I used PSE9.

    Hi Allen,

If your camera has a facility to do double exposures I would think it will be the best way to do this kind of thing. Take a shot of your subject and then a shot of a window pane or other glass.
