Lovely!..
I can't keep my wine glasses empty long enough to be arty like you and Mike.![]()
I use mine so often they end up broken.
This is SO wonderful, Judi! I'm very jealous that you have 18 of them. I actually returned to the thrift store this week hoping to find more of them but there were none. By the way, don't forget about Alsatian Gewurztraminer.
What did you use to generate the background tone?
If I can be really nitpicky, notice that your tabletop has some horizontal streaks on the left side. They get in the way of the strong vertical lines in the image.
As purely a matter of taste, try cropping at the bottom to eliminate the white reflections and emphasize the green tones. If you like that crop (you may not), you might then need to crop a little off the top.
Again, very well done!
Thank you all. Since these are ONLY for Alsation whites (including Gewurztraminer) we don't use them much so don't break them.
Mike - Thank you so much for your enthusiasm. I do not have any sort ofd studio and have just started photography, I set these out on my travertine floor and the backround is just the wall. I did not do much in PP. The streaks are probably the grout between the tiles and I'm sure could be worked on. I will try the alternate crop.
Thanks,
Judi
Very creative and a beautiful shot.
