Hi Paul, thank you for your comment. Nesting and hatching happen earlier here. I have made a mental note to get over to the eagle nest to see what is happening.

Nice shots joe. I won't see any around here till march. The hatchlings won't be that size untill around mid april.

You are getting some really great shots.

I would give all 3 a bit more headroom, just a half inch or so, particularly in 3 which seems as if the top is forcing the heron to shrink its neck.

Hello Andrew, most times there are two sites I go to for nature/bird photography. One is nearby ( a half hour away) and the other is on the east coast of Florida about a two hour drive.

Hello Bobo, not a problem cropping as you suggest... plenty of room in the original.
